Anna Johnson

Name: Anna Johnson.

Age: 38.

Anna Johnson, formerly Wilbert, was born to Bob and Dana Wilbert in 1987; a quiet girl, Anna often kept to herself and found comfort in “The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross” and would soon paint along to the episodes, mastering most techniques by middle school and impressing her art teachers. In high school, Anna would major in art and found herself painting the school murals every semester; when she was a sophomore, Anna was painting a mural when Matt Johnson came by looking for a quiet place to study, Anna didn’t mind, and the two eventually began talking and getting to know each other. The two talked about their families, current events, school events, and revealed their plans for the future; Anna wanted to paint portraits to keep an old profession alive, and Matt wanted to be a soldier because of both 9/11 and his grandfather. The two eventually exchanged phone numbers to keep in touch, and after a few months began dating.

During high school, Anna got a job at a craft store, learning even more ways to paint as she talked with and directed customers; Matt even came in with his younger sister so she could find a suitable set for beginner painters. Once Anna and Matt graduated, Matt enlisted in the army, promising Anna that he would comeback safely, and Anna gave him a necklace she always wore so she could be near him always; Matt always kept that necklace in his pocket. Anna went to college and majored in art and design, learning even more styles of painting to utilize in her profession. Three years into college, Matt came home, injured and honorably discharged, and despite his injuries, proposed to Anna; Anna eagerly accepted and the two were wed within a year, but Anna was able to finish college and would help with Matt’s physical therapy.

After properly healing, Matt would get a job at a local lumber yard and Anna would paint portraits freelance, but after six months Matt would begin training to be a firefighter, quitting the lumber yard after another six months when he passed the physical exam. At 23, Anna gave birth to their first child, Al, a quiet child who kept to himself but enjoyed sitting with his mother; at 25, Mary was born, an energetic girl who often got Al to come out of his shell. Over the years, Al would try to get closer to his father, but because of his job, Matt was called away more often than not; by eight, Al believed his father did not love him and ran away from home. Once Anna found out, she called Matt in a frenzy, who immediately went out to look for Al while Anna called the police and the parents of Al’s friends to see if they had seen him; after a half hour, the police came by, not with Al, but with bad news: Matt had been a car wreck. Anna nearly broke after being forced to acknowledge her husband’s mortality twice in ten years, but Matt had survived, and somehow it fixed his previous issues from being wounded in combat. Matt ended up applying for part time at the fire station to spend more time with his children, while also healing from the injuries from the accident; Anna would take up painting again to add to their income and to sharpen her skills, while also raising Al and Mary, who would end up fairly responsible and goodhearted kids.
